Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Trauben stammt aus dem Pinhão-Tal. Touriga Nacional und Tinta Roriz vertragen die im Sommer herrschende Hitze sehr gut. Hinzu kamen Trauben aus anderen Tälern des Douro, was sich in einem klassischen Blend der Region niederschlägt. Die Gärung erfolgte in einer Mischung aus geschlossenen Behältern, um Frische und aromatische Komponenten zu gewährleisten, sowie in offenen Behältern (Lagar), um mehr Komplexität und Struktur zu garantieren.
