Vinifikation des Tinto Carm Reserva 2020: Trauben, die sich nicht in perfektem Zustand befanden, wurden entfernt, vollständig entrappt, sanft zerkleinert und mit Thermoschock behandelt, gefolgt von einer Phase der vorfermentativen Kaltmazeration in einer Mühle für etwa 12 bis 24 Stunden Die Massen wurden in große Bottiche mit niedriger Gärung überführt und 8 Tage lang bei 22 °C mazeriert. Reifung: 18 Monate in Fässern aus 70 % französischer Eiche (225 l) und 30 % amerikanischer Eiche (300 l).
Im Mund ist er sehr konzentriert, warm, mit festen Tanninen und einer weichen Textur, einem sehr intensiven und anhaltenden Abgang, der die Stärke der Douro-Superior-Weine deutlich zum Ausdruck bringt.
Sehr frisch und intensiv mit Noten von wilden schwarzen Früchten und schwarzen Kirschen im Gleichgewicht mit verführerischen Nuancen von „Lakritze“, wobei das Aroma durch Holznoten komplexiert wird
