Vinifizierung des Weins Quinta das Bageiras Reserva Tinto: Einige seiner Baga-Trauben liefern alte Trauben, aber in Jahren, in denen es keinen Kellerbestand und eine Reserva gibt, wird ein Teil der alten Trauben für diesen Wein zurückgehalten. Diese Trauben werden 5 bis 8 Tage in offenem Lagar ohne Entrappen (die Beeren werden nicht vom Stiel entfernt) fermentiert. Danach erfolgt mehrmals täglich eine Überführung mit Holzpressen, bis die richtige Intensität erreicht ist. Anschließend fermentiert der Wein in bereits alten Holzfässern weiter. Während der Ruhezeit wird er geklärt und etwa 18 Monate in denselben Fässern ausgebaut. Er wird ohne jegliche Schönung oder Filtration abgefüllt. Alle diese Prozesse werden manuell durchgeführt.
