Nikka The Grain is composed of old Coffey grains and Coffey malts from the now-closed Nishinomiya distillery, as well as Coffey grains and Coffey malts from Miyagikyo. The finishing touches are added by Barley Grain (malted and unmalted barley) and Barley Grain and Corn & Rye, all distilled in copper stills at the Moji and Satsumatsukasa distilleries, which originally specialized in Shochu production. Each distillate was carefully selected from these four locations. Bottled at 48% alcohol by volume, Nikka The Grain reveals a creamy texture and a complex palate of complementary aromas.

Golden
Rich yet slender flavor. Notes of almond milk, coconut, vanilla, and licorice are felt. The finish is gently spiced, revealing flavors of cinnamon and ginger.
Fresh and complex. Initially, the aroma of beeswax is gently intertwined with aromatic plants (verbena, chamomile) and fresh fruits (pineapple, Mirabelle plum). Then the aroma extends to lightly toasted vanilla and a more intense grain note.
