Die zur Herstellung von Fonseca LBV verwendeten Weine werden aus den besten und vollmundigen roten Portweinen der Ernte 2016 ausgewählt und stammen aus den Fonseca-Weinbergen und anderen renommierten Weingütern in den Gebieten Cima Corgo und Douro Superior (in großen Holzfässern). (ca. 27.500 Liter Fassungsvermögen) und werden nach vier bis sechs Jahren abgefüllt. Von diesem fabelhaften Wein wurde nur eine begrenzte Menge produziert.
Tiefvioletter Kern mit rotem Rand
Im Mund Gewürze, wilde Brombeeren, Assam-Tee mit seinen Noten von dunkler Schokolade, Kakao und einer verführerischen Kräuternote. Er bietet eine ausgezeichnete Spannung, eine Konzentration wilder schwarzer Beeren, seidige Tannine und einen frischen und prickelnden Abgang mit einem sehr langen und großzügigen Nachgeschmack.
Reichhaltige, verführerische und sehr duftende Nase. Noten von Brombeeren, Pflaumen und wilden Himbeeren sowie Lakritze sorgen für eine wunderbare Spannung. Brombeeren fügen eine zusätzliche Schicht weicher, praller Frucht hinzu, eine Mischung aus Himbeere und Johannisbeere, mit einem Hauch blumiger Süße.
