Domingos Soares Franco, der jüngste Vertreter der sechsten Generation der Familie, die seit ihrer Gründung die Geschicke von José Maria da Fonseca leitet, ist nicht nur Vizepräsident, sondern auch Winzer dieses Hauses und daher eine unverzichtbare Referenz in das Weinpanorama der Region und des Landes. Obwohl er alle Weine von José Maria da Fonseca abonniert, gibt es einige, die er als etwas Besonderes für sich behält. Er nannte sie Domingos Soares Franco – Private Collection.
