Das Auto ist das Weiß Niepoorts begehrtester Wein, dessen Profil einem großen Burgunder am nächsten kommt. Bei der Definition seines Profils haben wir versucht, die Ausgewogenheit von Frucht und Komplexität durch die Reifung in französischem Eichenholz mit geringer Röstung im ersten Jahr aus der Böttcherei François Frères zu ergänzen. In der Nase führt die Holzreifung zu Röstnoten von Haselnuss und Brioche, die sehr gut mit einer aromatischen Basis aus Obstgartenfrüchten wie weißen Pflaumen, Pfirsichen, Aprikosen, Zitrusfrüchten und einigen aromatischen Kräutern harmonieren. Im Mund hat er eine Struktur, die einem großen Burgunder ähnelt: elegant, mit mäßigem Alkohol und hoher aromatischer Komplexität. Der Abgang ist anhaltend und lang, ergänzt durch eine hervorragende Säure, die eine fantastische Entwicklung in der Flasche verspricht.
