Petrus 2017 hat eine tief granatviolette Farbe und galoppiert aus dem Glas mit kräftigen und ausdrucksstarken Noten von Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, Blaubeerkonfitüre und Weihnachtspudding, dazu kommen Nuancen von geschmolzener Schokolade, chinesischem Fünf-Gewürz, kristallisierten Veilchen, Lakritze und Kirschwasser zu Rosen und Zimtstangen. Vollmundig, reichhaltig, würzig und fantastisch konzentriert, am Gaumen hat er eine attraktive Frische und eine solide Basis aus wunderbar reifen und samtigen Tanninen, der Abgang ist sehr lang und opulent. Die Aromen sind in diesem Jugendstadium untypisch für Petrus und ziemlich beeindruckend – dieser 2017er ist eine Bombe!
