Drei Monate Sommer ohne Wasser: So etwas hat der Winzer noch nie erlebt! Dieses überraschende Klima, die unglaublichen Bedingungen, kombiniert mit den Angélus-Terroirs, bescherten uns eine großartige, unvorhersehbare und unerwartete Ernte. Die Ernte verlief vom 4. bis 21. Oktober reibungslos. Die lange Mazeration ermöglichte es uns, die Tannine aus den Samen zu extrahieren, die dieses Jahr sehr reif waren. Diese Tannine haben eine elegante und stabile Struktur, die lange anhält. Wie erwartet haben Merlot-Trauben eine extrem tiefe Farbe und ihr Alkoholreichtum ist perfekt integriert. Frucht, Frische, Rasse und Eleganz dominieren. Die Knusprigkeit des Cabernet Franc, wie wir zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte vermutet hatten, unterstreicht diese großartige Angelus-Ernte. Die Weine aus der Angélus-Ernte bestechen durch ihre Qualität: ein Hauch von Kaschmir-Tanninen, große Geschmeidigkeit und würzige Noten, die an Eleganz dem Merlot Konkurrenz machen. 2016 ist eine strahlende Ernte, ganz im Sinne des unglaublichen Sommers, der seine Identität und sein Schicksal geprägt hat.
