Domaine Leflaive liegt im Dorf Puligny-Montrachet, einem Gebiet, das für die Produktion großer, gereifter Weißweine an der Côte de Beaune bekannt ist. Die Geschichte dieser Domaine reicht bis ins Jahr 1920 zurück, als ihr Gründer Joseph Leflaive eine umfassende Umstrukturierung der Familienweingüter in der Gemeinde Puligny durchführte. Die derzeitige Geschäftsführerin, seine Enkelin und Erbin, ist Anne-Claude Leflaive, die das Projekt stellvertretend für den Rest der Familie leitet. Seine Weine und die der Region sind für ihre Konzentration und Opulenz bekannt und bewahren stets die feine, mineralische und frische Seite, die die großen Weißweine des Burgunds auszeichnet, und Leflaive ist ohne Zweifel einer der großen Namen im Burgund.
