António Saramago Vinhos wurde 2002 vom Önologen António Saramago sowie seiner Ehefrau und seinen zwei Kindern gegründet und ist seitdem ein familiengeführtes Unternehmen. Die Ziele des Unternehmens sind auf die Produktion von Qualitätsweinen aus einigen Regionen Portugals ausgerichtet (derzeit Alentejo und Halbinsel Setúbal), wobei Rotweine die größte Präferenz genießen. Vinifikation des Moscatel António Saramago 10 Jahre: Leichte Gärung mit Zugabe von Weingeist und Mazeration über 6 Monate. Reifung in französischer Eiche über 10 Jahre.
