Wie die Figur, die ihn inspiriert, ist Aeternus aufgrund seiner Geschichte ein seltener Wein. Es entsteht im besten Weinberg auf den Terrassen der Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, einem jahrhundertealten Weinberg von 2,5 Hektar, der 0,4 kg pro Pflanze produziert, mit Sonneneinstrahlung im Südwesten und einer Pflanzdichte von etwa 6000 Pflanzen pro Hektar. Aeternus ist eine Hommage an ein ewiges Werk, an einen Mann, der das Land, seine Familie, seine Arbeit liebte. Américo Amorim war ein Mann mit einem seltenen und einzigartigen Gespür für das Geschäft, der seine berufliche Laufbahn im Alter von begann 18 Jahre alt im Familienunternehmen Korkenzieher und hat nie aufgehört, für seine Ideale zu kämpfen, den Korksektor zur Weltspitze zu erheben und über sechs Jahrzehnte eine Unternehmensgruppe mit großem Status in Portugal und der Welt zu schaffen.
