Jahrhundert erhebt sich die Porta dos Cavaleiros als solide Mauer in der Stadt Viseu, unter der festen Aufsicht von São João Batista, ihrem Wächter. Es ist das Licht dieser Mauer aus uralten Zeiten, das diesen Wein mit minimalistischem Eingreifen hervorgebracht hat, dessen lange Reifung in Fässern und Flaschen die langlebige Eleganz der Referenz verlieh, die vor über 60 Jahren von den Caves São João geschaffen wurde. Nach zwei Jahrzehnten der Unterbrechung wurde eine neue Edition dieses Reservas im Stil der alten Weine herausgebracht, die geschaffen wurden, um die Zeit zu überdauern.
