Touriga Nacional gilt seit langem als die wichtigste Rebsorte in der abgegrenzten Region Douro für die Herstellung hochwertiger Weine.
Nach einer 18-monatigen Reifung in französischen Eichenfässern offenbart dieser Wein intensive, für die Region typische Aromen von Gewürzen und roten Früchten. Im Mund ist er sehr elegant, weich und umhüllend mit einer hervorragenden Integration von Holz und gut strukturierten Tanninen. Quinta do Crasto 2018 Touriga Nacional wurde im Januar 2020 ohne jegliche Filtration abgefüllt und kann während der Reifung in der Flasche Ablagerungen bilden.
