Gegründet im Jahr 1798 von Claude Jacquesson, kann das Haus stolz darauf sein, einer der bevorzugten Champagner von Napoleon I. gewesen zu sein. Adolphe Jacquesson war verantwortlich für die wichtige Erfindung des Drahtes zur Ersetzung der Schnur und der Metallplatte, um zu verhindern, dass der Draht in den Korken einsinkt. Mit dem Kauf von Jacquesson im Jahr 1974 durch Jean Chiquet, Winzer und Makler, blieb das Unternehmen in der Familie.
