Vinifizierung des Portos Kopke Colheita 1999: Der Herstellungsprozess umfasst das Stoppen der Gärung des Mosts durch die Zugabe von Weinbrand (Bereicherung oder Aguardentação), die Verschnitt von Weinen und die Reifung. Gärung in Lagares mit Schalenmazeration und Umwälzungen bei einer Temperatur von 29ºC, bis der gewünschte Baumé erreicht ist, wobei in dieser Phase Weinbrand hinzugefügt wird. Wein von hoher Qualität, der aus einer einzigen Ernte stammt. Reift in Holz über variable Zeiträume, die niemals weniger als 7 Jahre betragen, und wird anschließend je nach Marktnachfrage abgefüllt.
