Vinifikation des Portweins KOPKE Colheita 1976: Von Hand zum optimalen Zeitpunkt geerntet, werden die Trauben entrappt, zerdrückt und nach einem Verfahren vinifiziert, das auf einer sorgfältigen Mazeration mit Extraktion von Farbe, Tanninen und Aromen aus den Schalen basiert, ergänzt durch ständige Überpumpungen während der Fermentation. Diese erfolgt in Lagares bei kontrollierter Temperatur zwischen 28-30ºC, bis der gewünschte Baumé-Grad erreicht ist. In dieser Phase erfolgt die Zugabe des Weindestillats (Benefício), was zu einem verstärkten Wein führt. Wein von hoher Qualität, der aus einer einzigen Ernte stammt. Er reift in Holz über variable Zeiträume, die niemals weniger als 7 Jahre betragen, und wird anschließend je nach Marktnachfrage abgefüllt.
