Der Wein Monte dos Perdigões Grande Reserva Tinto stellt den Höhepunkt der Weinproduktion von Monte dos Perdigões dar und wird nur in Jahren von außergewöhnlicher Qualität hergestellt. Diese Charge basiert auf Trauben der Sorten Alicante Bouschet und Syrah, die von den ältesten Weinbergen des Monte stammen. Die Fermentation erfolgt in Alentejo-Marmorbehältern und reifte anschließend 18 Monate in neuen Fässern aus französischer Eiche mit feiner Körnung und mittlerer Röstung. Es wurden nur 1743 Flaschen produziert.
