Balvenie 12 Year Old - The Sweet Toast of American Oak è un whisky che offre un'esperienza sensoriale unica. Al naso, è deliziosamente maltato, con note di dolce fondente seguite da aromi di agrumi e rovere vanigliato, stratificati con note speziate di rovere di zenzero e cannella. Al palato ci sono scorze di arancia e limone candite, vaniglia e caramello mou, strati di miele floreale e un tocco di zucchero di canna fuso, con spezie di quercia sul finale. Il finale è ricco e maltato, con dolci onde di rovere vanigliato e spezie sottili.
