Sapori di ciliegie rosse, ciliegia, nettarine e persino arancia rossa. I terreni caldi sono compensati da esposizioni prevalentemente settentrionali. Al palato ha volume ed è succoso, sensuale e vellutato, con alcuni tannini a grana fine che attualmente richiedono cibo. Rende il rosso molto gastronomico.
