“La Quinta de Ervamoira è l'interpretazione di un luogo unico e speciale sulle rive del fiume Côa che, dopo la vinificazione in lagar, matura per 18 mesi in rovere francese: 40% botti, 30% barriques nuove, 30% barriques di 1 anno, 12 mesi in bottiglia. È stata proprio in questa Quinta che è nata la viticoltura moderna duriense. Per la prima volta, nel 1974, sono state piantate le 5 varietà precedentemente studiate e selezionate, condotte in direzione di una maggiore pendenza. Nella Quinta de Ervamoira si pratica una viticoltura sostenuta nel rispetto della biodiversità e senza ricorso a pesticidi o erbicidi. Per la produzione del DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira, il Team di Ramos Pinto ha scelto piccoli appezzamenti di parcelle selezionate che ha vendemmiato e vinificato con attenzione. Di colore brillante e granato, il DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira rosso è molto espressivo e con enorme complessità aromatica. In bocca è pura eleganza. Con un inizio setoso, un volume in crescita e un finale intenso e persistente. Secondo João Luís Baptista, enologo responsabile dei Vini del Douro della Casa Ramos Pinto, il DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira 2018 è “un vino unico di un anno straordinario, in cui si mescolano con eleganza: la concentrazione, la freschezza, i tannini fini e morbidi”. “È qui!”.
