Una consistenza morbida e oleosa, con un sapore intenso che si impone in modo armonioso; quasi profumato all'inizio, ma sempre salato e leggermente dolce, con un carattere meravigliosamente terroso e affumicato proveniente dalle botti selezionate. Questo "mostro marino" ha un tocco piccante pieno che si assapora alla fine. L'acqua lo ammorbidisce, aggiungendo una leggera frizzantezza piccante sulla lingua, mantenendo il profilo globale simile.
L'aroma delicato non rivela l'intensità che sta per emergere. Le note iniziali sono dolci e marine, con un leggero tocco di cereali che ricorda i fiocchi d'avena, cedendo rapidamente il posto a profumi più puliti e marini, che evocano alghe salate, cristalli di sale e iodio, su una base di fumo di montagna. Una goccia d'acqua ammorbidisce gli aromi, esaltando il carattere marino.
