Vinificazione del Borges Touriga Nacional Tinto: Pigiatura totale delle uve seguita da una leggera spremitura. Breve macerazione pre-fermentativa seguita da fermentazione in macerazione di 6-8 giorni a temperatura controllata di 28 ºC con rimontaggi relativamente frequenti. Dopo la fermentazione alcolica viene effettuato un periodo di macerazione dopo il quale si separa il vino dalle masse con cui ha fermentato e si provoca la fermentazione malolattica. Tutto il vino affina in botti di rovere francese e rovere americano per 12 mesi.

Eccellente volume in bocca, con struttura composta, dove troveremo tannini maturi e delicati che contribuiscono a una texture vellutata di questo Touriga Nacional. La sua acidità iniziale trasmette freschezza e gioventù. Il finale è persistente e caratterizzato da note di vaniglia.
Presenta un naso intenso ma fresco, contrassegnato da aromi floreali, avvolto da eleganti sfumature di frutta rossa matura. Rivela inoltre note affumicate e speziate, ben integrate e discrete, risultanti dalla maturazione in legno, che conferisce complessità al bouquet, in un insieme autentico ed equilibrato.
