Quinta dos Murças Margem 2021 proviene da vigneti lungo le rive del fiume Douro, dove si trovano alcuni degli appezzamenti più antichi dell'azienda agricola. La sua bassa altitudine e l'esposizione solare, prevalentemente a sud, fanno sì che le uve raggiungano maggiore concentrazione e maturazione.Vinificazione del Vino Tinto Quinta das Murças Margem 2017: Raccolta manuale, tavolo di selezione, diraspatura, pigiatura, fermentazione alcolica con lieviti indigeni a temperatura controllata (da 25ºC a 28ºC) in macine di granito mediante battitura a piedi e pressatura in un vecchio torchio verticale. Invecchiamento in botti usate di rovere francese da 500 lt per circa 9 mesi.
Profondo, con sentori violacei
Concentrato, presenta tannini molto maturi che, insieme all'acidità ben coinvolta, gli donano una sensazione di volume, corpo e freschezza. Ha un finale molto lungo e persistente, dove dominano gli aromi dei frutti più maturi, consentendo una grande longevità.
Molto intenso ed esuberante, dominato da frutti neri maturi, come mora e cassis, aromi balsamici, come il cisto, e morbide note di spezie, derivanti dall'invecchiamento in legno usato.
