All'inizio del XX secolo, quando acquistò Quinta do Piloto, Humberto da Silva Cardoso riservò per sé 10 piccole botti da 50 litri che riempì con il miglior moscato delle sue tenute. Da allora, questo moscato è stato conservato all'ombra della cantina della Quinta. do Piloto, riservata solo alla famiglia. Anno dopo anno, quattro generazioni hanno seguito il rito di riempire ogni botte con il meglio di ogni raccolto. Così è nato questo prezioso e raro moscato, che testimonia un secolo di dedizione di una storica famiglia di Palmela.
Colore topazio molto ricco con sfumature verde oliva
Si nota che siamo in presenza di un vino antico e raro, con una concentrazione di zuccheri che lo rende mielato, concentrato e denso, tuttavia la sua acidità è vibrante, rendendone unica la degustazione.
