IL VINO 1872 Quinta da Foz Vinhas Velhas Branco , si distingue nella lunga storia di Quinta da Foz come una data immortale, perpetuata nell'iscrizione su una pietra sulla facciata della casa principale, che segna la fondazione della Quinta. Per questa edizione è stato accuratamente preparato un lotto di una serie limitata di 600 bottiglie numerate. Proviene dai migliori appezzamenti di vigneti secolari di Quinta da Foz, con un mix di circa 15 vini bianchi.
Il colore è citrino, limpido con lievi sfumature paglierine.
La trama in bocca è presente con buona acidità, equilibrata con un corpo untuoso, con alcuni tannini ancora vivi, che ne rivelano il potenziale in bottiglia. Delicatamente vibrante, con freschezza e forza, in un finale rotondo e fresco.
Al naso è agrumato, con note di frutta bianca matura e leggeri aromi floreali e di agrumi, arricchiti da aromi tostati e dolci con un leggero tocco vanigliato e “di pane”, forniti dall'affinamento in legno con batonnage per 12 mesi.
