“La Quinta de Ervamoira es la interpretación de un lugar único y especial a orillas del río Côa que, tras la vinificación en lagar, realiza un envejecimiento de 18 meses en roble francés: 40% toneles, 30% barricas nuevas, 30% barricas de 1 año, 12 meses en botella. Fue también en esta Quinta donde nació la viticultura moderna duriense. Por primera vez, en 1974, se plantaron las 5 variedades previamente estudiadas y seleccionadas, conducidas en dirección a una mayor pendiente. En la Quinta de Ervamoira se practica una viticultura sustentada en el respeto por la biodiversidad y sin el uso de pesticidas herbicidas. Para la elaboración del DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira, el equipo de Ramos Pinto eligió pequeños parcelas seleccionadas que vendimió y vinificó cuidadosamente. De color brillante y granate, el DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira tinto es muy expresivo y con una enorme complejidad aromática. En boca es pura elegancia. Con un inicio sedoso, un volumen en crecimiento y un final intenso y persistente. Según João Luís Baptista, enólogo responsable de los Vinos del Douro de Casa Ramos Pinto, el DOC Douro Quinta de Ervamoira 2018 es “un vino único de un año extraordinario, en el que se mezclan con elegancia: la concentración, la frescura, los taninos finos y suaves”. “¡Es aquí!”.
