Quinta dos Carvalhais es la marca de vinos especializada en producir los mejores y más sabrosos vinos de Dão, constituyendo la mayor referencia de la región: representa el arte, la autenticidad y la calidad de los mejores vinos de Dão. En esta Quinta dos Carvalhais Reserva Branco se recuperan antiguas costumbres de la región en cuanto a la crianza de los vinos blancos, cuando era común almacenarlos por largos periodos en viejas barricas de roble. La uva se recibía en bodega en cajas de 20 kg. descargado directamente en la prensa neumática. Los mostos, debidamente protegidos de la oxidación, fueron sometidos a decantación estática a baja temperatura durante un periodo de 24 horas. Luego se envió a depósitos de acero inoxidable a temperatura controlada, donde se realizó la fermentación durante unos 20 días, a temperaturas que no superaban los 16ºC. Crianza de 16 meses en barricas usadas (20% 500 litros; 80% 225 litros).
Amarillo citrino con tinte verdoso.
Boca con mucho volumen, de textura intensa y presencia firme. Acidez muy integrada aportando frescor gastronómico. Final largo y muy equilibrado.
Notas de pera Williams, toques de piel de frutos secos y una atmósfera dulce procedente del envejecimiento en barrica.
