Aguardente Caves São João 1966 Velhíssima es el resultado de una elaboración con vino de la cosecha de 1965, envejecido durante 37 años en barricas de roble Lemosín y una pequeña cantidad de barricas de roble nacional rellenas con vino de Oporto. De apariencia clara, este espirituoso revela un intenso color topacio y un aroma ricamente complejo, donde las notas de vainilla y coco provenientes de la madera de roble son evidentes desde el primer momento. Se añaden matices ligeramente ahumados, tonos dulces lácteos y sutilezas de frutos secos. En boca es aterciopelado, refinado y aromático, confirmando sublimemente las sensaciones percibidas en nariz.
