La Cannabis Absinthe de Rodnik se distingue de la absenta tradicional por dos razones principales. En primer lugar, se produce en España y tiene un inconfundible toque mediterráneo debido a la adición de ingredientes botánicos locales a la receta. En segundo lugar, incorpora cannabis en su proceso de destilación, dándole al ajenjo un sabor a cáñamo único. Aunque Cannabis Absinthe de Rodnik no comparte efectos similares al cannabis, el contenido de alcohol de Green Fairy sigue siendo tan alto como siempre.
