En la Quinta del Casal da Granja, algunas parcelas se benefician de un microclima que conduce a una neblina matutina seguida de tardes cálidas y húmedas que presentan las condiciones ideales para el desarrollo del hongo natural conocido como Botrytis Cinérea. El Grandjó Late Harvest se elabora a partir de una cuidadosa selección de uvas Semillon afectadas por el hongo Botrytis Cinérea, fenómeno natural comúnmente denominado "podredumbre noble" y que, en función de la deshidratación de la uva, produce vinos dulces y untuosos con finísimas notas glicéricas.

En la prueba, el vino llena el paladar con una dulzura voluminosa y una untuosidad glicérica realzando las varias capas de sabores que ya se adivinaban en la nariz. Termina muy largo y persistente.
El aroma es muy complejo con notas de albaricoque, pasas y miel que combinan con matices originales de cítricos maduros y ligeros aromas tostados.
