EL VINO 1872 Quinta da Foz Touriga Nacional 2020, se destaca en la larga historia de la Quinta da Foz como una fecha inmortal, perpetuada en la inscripción en una piedra en la fachada de la casa principal, que marca la fundación de la Quinta. Para celebrar un trabajo eterno y rendir homenaje a los hombres y mujeres que se dedicaron al cuidado de los viñedos a lo largo de estos siglos, creamos un vino especial inspirado en esta herencia. Raro, patrimonial, con personalidad histórica, nos habla de la larga tradición de Quinta da Foz. Para esta edición especial, se preparó cuidadosamente un coupage elaborado únicamente con la variedad de uva reina, Touriga Nacional. Este vino nace de la elección de las mejores cepas de Touriga Nacional de nuestros viñedos viejos.
El corazón del arbusto es profundo.
Buenas notas de carácter vegetal que nos recuerdan al viñedo y su suelo. En boca tiene buen volumen, taninos redondos y jóvenes. Final fresco, con presencia de taninos jóvenes.
Aroma intenso con recuerdos frutales y notas florales muy maduras. Con la madera presente pero bien integrada y discreta, dando como resultado un conjunto muy complejo con notas dulces, algo de especias, manteniendo vivas las notas florales propias de la variedad.
