As usual, a rigorous selection of the best wine lots from different parcels of the estate was carried out. This year's lot consists of seven different lots from the Pinhão valley and one from the Roncão valley. Vinification of Porto Quinta do Noval Vintage 2022: The grapes are foot-trodden in the lagares to obtain the must, and then macerated during fermentation to achieve the best possible extraction of aromas, color, and tannins. Aging: The wine ages for 18 months in barrels, in the climate-controlled warehouses of the estate in the demarcated Douro region, before being bottled.
