Bacalhoa Baga is born in an ideal terroir for the Baga variety (clay-limestone soils and exposure to the West). A traditional vinification was carried out with cold pre-fermentative maceration and a long cuvaison, which resulted in a wine that was intense in color, aroma and flavor and very elegant. A 14-month aging period in new 300 liter French and Russian oak barrels was the last stage before bottling.
