Além da sua notoriedade na produção de vinhos do Alentejo, a Adega de Borba tem uma grande tradição na produção de aguardentes, utilizando e selecionando as melhores massas vínicas de castas tintas tradicionais da região de Borba. As massas vínicas selecionadas para esta aguardente são resultado da prensagem de uvas fermentadas que originaram vinhos produzidos em lagar de inox. As massas são destiladas em vasos de cobre em destilaria própria, obedecendo rigorosamente a temperaturas e tempos de destilação com precisão, garantindo excelente qualidade e genuinidade nos diferentes álcoois que integram a aguardente. Envelhecida durante 10 anos em barricas de carvalho francês ‘limosin’, demonstra excelentes características de cor, estrutura e afinamento aromático.Cor dourada viva.Aroma intenso, complexo, fino e aveludado a amêndoa e fruta passa.
