Vinha Grande White is Casa Ferreirinha's first white wine and is characterized by its aromatic intensity, which defines it in a very elegant way. Vinha Grande Branco reveals at its best the full potential of the Douro region in the production of high quality blended white wines. Grapes from selected varieties coming from Quinta do Sairrão. On this farm, white grape varieties are planted at high altitude, where temperatures are milder, thus obtaining grapes with the desired ripeness and acidity. After gentle de-stemming, the grapes are subjected to skin maceration and then pressed. After decantation at low temperature, alcoholic fermentation follows in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, at a controlled temperature between 14ºC-18ºC.
Bright pale with citrus nuances
Good volume, a refreshing and well-integrated lively acidity, white fruits stand out, slight bushy notes and a long, elegant finish.
