A winery, a wine shop, a restaurant, and a large multipurpose space, spread over three floors, make up Quinta do Encontro, located in the heart of Bairrada, in São Lourenço do Bairro, where the tradition of wine production dates back to 1930. Opened in 2007, Quinta do Encontro, a winery designed by architect Pedro Mateus, is set in the vineyard landscape, in full harmony with nature, and is the result of a different and innovative vision of making and communicating the wines of the Bairrada Region. Set in a serene landscape dominated by vineyards, with the Caramulo and Buçaco Mountains in the background, Quinta do Encontro invites visitors to establish direct contact with wine production, from the vine to the tasting, and to enjoy the nectars produced by this winery: contemporary and urban white, red, and sparkling wines.
