Vinification of Lady Baga from Quinta do Vallado: The grapes are 100% from a vineyard facing North at Quinta do Orgal in the Douro Superior, with certified organic winemaking. In order to achieve a gentle extraction, 20% of the grapes used were whole bunches (not destemmed) and the remaining 80% were not crushed (whole berries). After a cold maceration for 24 hours, the grapes fermented for a week with very little extraction. Immediately after alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to used 225-liter French oak barrels where it underwent malolactic fermentation and remained for about 12 months.

Very smooth and round, with a flavor of wild fruits. The finish is very fresh with a slight vegetal touch.
Very complex, where wild fruits and forest aromas predominate with a toasted wood touch from where it aged.
