Bodegas de San Román y Viñedos were acquired in 1997 by the García family, who saw an opportunity to expand the business by acquiring plots of old vineyards in the Toro region. Currently, the property has 130 hectares of vineyards certified as organic and approximately 40 years old. Its wines are known for their exuberance, complexity and minerality.
San Román Bodegas y Viñedos is the second winery of Mariano García and his family, in the Toro Denomination of Origin, started after Bodegas Mauro in Valle del Duero and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero, started in 2014. three properties address the style of viticulture based on respect for the singularities of each territory, which constitute a particular winemaking philosophy.
