Magma é feito exclusivamente com a casta Verdelho. As vinhas estão plantadas nas curraletas dos Biscoitos, parte da paisagem e património da ilha Terceira.As vinhas crescem em solos vulcânicos, rodeadas por rochas de magma que as protegem dos fortes ventos atlânticos, originando assim vinhos únicos e especiais.Vinificação do Magma Vedelho Branco: Vindima manual para cestos de vime de 20 kg e transportadas de forma muito célere para a adega. Aqui é feito um desengace total seguido de uma ligeira prensagem.Após a decantação estática a frio, arranca a fermentação, que decorre por 20 dias. Após esta o vinho fica sob borras finas em batonnâge, durante 5 meses.
