Vinification of Porto Niepoort Vintage: All components of the Vintage Porto 2022 were foot-trodden in granite lagares with 100% stems. The wines were racked shortly after the harvest, aging in the Douro, in barrels, during the winter. They were subsequently transferred, in March 2023, to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.

"In the balance between volume and elegance, resulting in a spicy and slightly drier finish than one would expect. This is probably one of the best vintages of the last decade, with a structure of acidity, sweetness, and tannins so balanced that it hints at great aging potential in the bottle."
"The nose is delicate, fine, and extremely sophisticated. With floral notes of violet, graphite, licorice, and blackberries. The true style and potential of this wine are transformed into the perfection of the aromatic and structural binomial."
