Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Rosé 2022 is a Dão rosé wine of exceptional quality, the ultimate exponent of elegance and richness. Heir to ancient knowledge, Quinta dos Carvalhais combines experience with innovation to create very elegant wines, with intensely delicate flavors and the unique personality of the region. The Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro grapes that are part of this blend were harvested and vinified separately . The harvest was carried out earlier than normal for a red wine, so that the grapes maintained good acidity and freshness. They were pressed very gently, without stemming or crushing, in a pneumatic press, with the must fermented in an open spout in a stainless steel tank at a temperature of around 14ºC-16ºC. Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Rosé was bottled immediately after a short aging period. around 4 months in stainless steel vats.
In the mouth, the crisp acidity typical of the Dão region stands out, giving it freshness. Elegant, complex and engaging wine, with fruity notes appearing again in the mouth and lasting in a long and harmonious finish.
