Vinification of Castello D´Alba Limited Edition 2020 Wine: 100% manual harvest, for vats with an average capacity of 800 kg. Destemming and crushing; Cold maceration for 48 hours; alcoholic fermentation for a minimum of 15 days with temperature control. Malolactic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18ºC for 15 days. Aging for 18 months in French oak barrels, 2/3 new, 1/3 second wine.
Long and enveloping, you can feel the fruit at the end of the mouth, firm tannins that are very ripe and smooth, fresh and very elegant, hinting at excellent aging in the bottle.
Very concentrated aroma, with black forest fruits, notes of licorice, spices, violets, bergamot, rockrose… in balance with very elegant French barrel notes
