Balvenie 12 Year Old – The Sweet Toast of American Oak ist ein Whisky, der ein einzigartiges sensorisches Erlebnis bietet. In der Nase ist es köstlich malzig, mit Noten von süßem Fudge, gefolgt von Zitrus- und Vanille-Eichenaromen, überlagert von würzigen Eichennoten von Ingwer und Zimt. Am Gaumen finden sich kandierte Orangen- und Zitronenschalen, Vanille- und Karamell-Toffee, Schichten von Blütenhonig und ein Hauch von geschmolzenem braunem Zucker, mit Eichengewürzen im Abgang. Der Abgang ist reichhaltig und malzig, mit sanften Wellen von Vanille-Eiche und subtilen Gewürzen.
