DER WEIN 1872 Quinta da Foz Touriga Nacional 2020 sticht in der langen Geschichte der Quinta da Foz als unsterbliches Datum hervor, das in der Inschrift auf einem Stein an der Fassade des Haupthauses verewigt ist und die Gründung der Quinta markiert. Um ein ewiges Werk zu feiern und den Männern und Frauen zu huldigen, die sich im Laufe dieser Jahrhunderte der Pflege der Weinberge verschrieben haben, haben wir einen besonderen Wein kreiert, der von diesem Erbe inspiriert ist. Seltenes Erbe mit historischer Persönlichkeit erzählt uns von der langen Tradition der Quinta da Foz. Für diese Sonderedition wurde eine Mischung ausschließlich aus der Königin-Rebsorte Touriga Nacional hergestellt. Dieser Wein entsteht durch die Auswahl der besten Touriga Nacional-Sorten aus unseren alten Reben.
Das Herz des Busches ist tief.
Gute Noten mit pflanzlichem Charakter, die uns an den Weinberg und seinen Boden erinnern. Im Mund hat er gutes Volumen, runde und junge Tannine. Im Abgang frisch, mit der Präsenz junger Tannine.
Intensives Aroma mit Fruchtnoten und sehr reifen Blumennoten. Mit vorhandenem, aber gut integriertem und diskretem Holz, was zu einem sehr komplexen Ensemble mit süßen Noten und einigen Gewürzen führt, wobei die blumigen Noten der Sorte lebendig bleiben.
