Escarchado Anis-Likör ist einer der bekanntesten Liköre der Marke Xarão. Es handelt sich um ein Getränk, das durch den Aufguss von Anis gewonnen wird, wobei ein aromatischer Zweig der Pflanze hinzugefügt wird. Die Kristallisation des Zuckers im Zweig, die ihm einen charakteristischen und sehr angenehmen optischen Effekt verleiht, erfolgt, weil sich der Zucker nicht auflösen (bzw. auflösen) kann.
