Als Humberto da Silva Cardoso Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts Quinta do Piloto erwarb, reservierte er sich 10 kleine 50-Liter-Fässer, die er mit feinstem Muskat aus seinen Weingütern füllte. Seitdem lagert dieser Muskat im Schatten des Weinkellers der Quinta, der nur der Familie vorbehalten ist. Jahr für Jahr folgten vier Generationen dem Ritual, jedes Fass mit dem Besten jeder Ernte zu füllen. So entstand dieser kostbare und seltene Muskateller, der ein Jahrhundert der Hingabe einer historischen Familie aus Palmela beweist.
Sehr satte Topasfarbe mit olivgrünen Nuancen
Man kann feststellen, dass wir es mit einem alten und seltenen Wein zu tun haben, dessen Zuckerkonzentration ihn honigartig, konzentriert und dicht macht, dessen Säure jedoch lebendig ist, was seinen Geschmack einzigartig macht.
