Aguardente Caves São João 1966 Velhíssima ist das Ergebnis einer Produktion mit Wein aus der Ernte 1965, einer Reifung für 37 Jahre in Limousin-Eichenfässern und einer kleinen Menge nationaler Eichenfässer, die mit Portwein gefüllt sind. Mit seiner klaren Erscheinung offenbart dieser Geist eine intensive Topasfarbe und ein reichhaltig komplexes Aroma, bei dem die Vanille- und Kokosnussnoten des Eichenholzes vom ersten Moment an deutlich erkennbar sind. Hinzu kommen leicht rauchige Nuancen, süße Milchtöne und Feinheiten von Trockenfrüchten. Der Gaumen ist samtig, raffiniert und aromatisch und bestätigt auf sublime Weise die von der Nase wahrgenommenen Empfindungen.
