Borges Reserva Tinto - Douro Vinifikation: Vollständige Entrappung der Trauben, gefolgt von sanftem Zerdrücken. Ein Teil des Lots wird zunächst nach der traditionellen Methode im Lagar mit Fußstampfen vinifiziert, die Fermentation endet in einem Edelstahltank, während der restliche Teil des Lots nur in einem Edelstahltank vinifiziert wird. In beiden Vinifikationen erfolgt eine kurze präfermentative Mazeration, gefolgt von einer Fermentation in einer Dauer von 6-8 Tagen bei kontrollierter Temperatur von 28-30ºC mit relativ häufigen Umwälzungen. Nach der alkoholischen Fermentation erfolgt eine Mazerationsperiode, nach der der Wein von den Schalen, mit denen er fermentiert hat, getrennt wird. Der gesamte Wein reift 18 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern.

Noten von schwarzen Früchten sind harmonisch mit rauchigen Nuancen kombiniert, die aus der Reifung im Fass stammen, während eine hervorragende Säure eine bemerkenswerte Frische hinzufügt.
Wein mit tiefem und facettenreichem Aroma, mit einem einladenden Gefühl. Er wird von einer lebhaften Kombination aus reifen schwarzen Früchten und roten Früchten in Kompott dominiert. Zedernoten treten hervor und bringen frische Nuancen, harmonisch kombiniert mit Anklängen von geräuchertem Holz und Vanille, die aus der Reifung in Fässern stammen.
