Vinifizierung des Azulera Reserva Tinto: Nach der manuellen Ernte wurden die Trauben entrappt und 18 Tage lang bei kontrollierter Temperatur in Edelstahl vergoren. Anschließend kam der Wein in neue und gebrauchte Fässer aus französischer Eiche, wo die malolaktische Gärung stattfand.

Im Mund ist er trocken, vollmundig, kraftvoll in der dunklen Frucht und lebhaft in der Säure, was ihn sehr trinkbar macht. Die Tannine sind, obwohl vorhanden, durch die lange Reifung gut gezähmt. Die Aromen entfalten sich in aufeinanderfolgenden Schichten, wobei die dezente Holznote das gesamte Ensemble sehr ansprechend macht. Langer und würziger Abgang.
In der Nase bietet er eine Fülle von schwarzen Früchten mit Noten von Vanille und Gewürzen.
